Poland: Greenvolt sells two energy storage projects with 1.2 GWh to Northland Power
Greenvolt Power, a company of the Greenvolt Group and one of the leading developers of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects, has signed an agreement for the sale of two ready-to-build battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Poland totaling 300 MW / 1.2 GWh. The buyer is Northland Power Inc., a Canada-owned global power producer. -

Czech Republic: Equinor signs 10-year agreement for gas supplies into the Czech Republic
Equinor and the Capital City of Prague’s gas and electricity company Pražská plynárenská have signed a long-term agreement for 10 years of gas supplies into the Czech Republic. Deliveries have started and will last until 2035. -

Trinidad: bpTT safely completes Cypre project
bp Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) has safely completed the Cypre seven-well drilling programme following delivery of first gas in April 2025. The Cypre development is made up of seven wells tied back into bpTT’s existing Juniper platform. Four wells were drilled and completed at the end of 2024 with the first gas delivered in April this year. -

Chile: DNV supports Atlas Renewable Energy in securing USD 475 million for major Chilean solar and storage project
DNV acted as market advisor to support Atlas Renewable Energy in securing USD 475 million in financing for the Copiapó hybrid solar and battery storage project in Chile. Located in Chile’s Atacama Region, Copiapó combines 357 MWp of solar capacity with a 320 MW/1.28 GWh battery system, capable of providing four hours of storage. -
