Vestas has been appointed as the preferred wind turbine supplier for the up to 1.6 GW Nordseecluster wind project in Germany, a joint venture between RWE and Northland Power. The cluster consists of four offshore wind project sites in the German North Sea, North of the island of Juist.

The Nordex Group has received two orders for a total of 109.3 MW in Sweden and Finland from its regular customer wpd. The Nordex Group is supplying ten N163/6.X turbines for the Tomasliden wind farm in Sweden. For the Finnish 'Oulainen' project wpd placed an order with the Nordex Group for the delivery of seven N163/5.X turbines.

The well is designed to test the shallow Eocene Hoya light oil prospect. Pinarova lies beneath an active light oil seep found last summer in a seismic shot hole, 6 km north of the Company's Basur-1 oil discovery.

Chevron announces lower carbon LNG fleet modification project with Sembcorp Marine
