Woodside releases full-year 2023 results
Woodside achieved record production of 187.2 MMboe (513 Mboe/d) and excellent operated LNG reliability of 98%. The Company recorded full-year net profit after tax (NPAT) of $1,660 million, and underlying NPAT of $3,320 million when adjusted for exceptional items, and operating cash flow was $6,145 million.

Brazil: Marechal Duque de Caxias platform ship leaves China for Brazil
The platform ship Marechal Duque de Caxias left Yantai, China, February 24, heading for the Mero field, operated by Petrobras, in the pre-salt Santos Basin. The platform will start operating in September of this year and has the capacity to produce up to 180,000 barrels of oil and compress up to 12 million cubic meters of gas, all daily.

Sweden: Eolus submits application for offshore wind project outside the coast of Blekinge
The Blekinge Offshore wind farm, located within the municipalities of Karlshamn and Sölvesborg, comprises up to 70 wind turbines with a production of approx. 4.3 TWh of renewable electricity per year. This represents a significant addition for southern Sweden and the Blekinge Region, which sees offshore wind power as an opportunity to increase self-sufficiency in electricity at competitive prices.

Vestas has received a 153 MW order to power an undisclosed wind project in the USA. The order consists of 34 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines.

Denmark closes investigation into Nord Stream pipeline blast
Danish police have said they are closing their inquiry into the blasts that tore apart two pipelines intended to ship Russian gas to Germany. Authorities concluded the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines had been 'sabotaged' in September 2022 - but said there was no basis for pursuing a criminal case.

Australia: Santos secures Moomba carbon capture and storage finance to drive decarbonisation
Santos has secured finance for the company’s share of the US$220 million Moomba carbon capture and storage (CCS) project in South Australia. The facilities, with a five-year tenor and totalling US$150 million, will be used to cover project costs incurred to date and to draw down upon as the project progresses to first injection targeted for mid-2024.
