Hess reports estimated results for second quarter of 2019
Hess has reported a net loss of $6 million in the second quarter of 2019, compared with a net loss of $130 million in the second quarter of 2018. In Guyana, estimated gross discovered recoverable resources for the Stabroek Block have been increased to more than 6 billion barrels of oil equivalent.

Oman: BP and Eni sign exploration agreement in Oman
BP and Eni have signed an exploration and production sharing agreement (EPSA) for Block 77 in central Oman. Block 77 is located 30 kms east of the BP-operated Block 61, which contains the already-producing Khazzan gas project as well as the Ghazeer project, currently under development.

Thailand: PTTEP acquires more shares in APICO - drives forward Sinphuhorm Project development
PTTEP, has signed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire a 39 percent stake in APICO from Coastal Energy Company for USD 74 million. The deal will increase PTTEP’s share in APICO to 72.8 percent and will drive further development of the Sinphuhorm Project to support electricity generation in the northeast of Thailand.

Hague and London Oil has announced an update on its operations in the Dutch and UK Southern North Sea. The Andromeda North well has spudded in Block 42/12, in the Southern North Sea and the Company's E15c exploration licence in the Dutch North Sea has been extended, with a well scheduled to test the 20-50Bcf Maple prospect planned for 2020.

BP announces second quarter and half year 2019 results
BP has announced its second quarter and half year 2019 results. Underlying replacement cost profit for the second quarter of 2019 was $2.8 billion, similar to a year earlier.
