Germany: Wintershall Dea sells WIGA stake to SEFE
Wintershall Dea has entered into an agreement for the sale of its 50.02 per cent stake in WIGA, the sole shareholder of German regulated gas transmission system operators GASCADE Gastransport GmbH and NEL Gastransport GmbH, to Berlin-headquartered company SEFE. SEFE currently holds a 49.98 per cent stake in WIGA and, upon closing of the transaction, will become the company’s sole shareholder.

South Africa: Nordex Group obtains order for 336 MW in South Africa
The Nordex Group has obtained an order to supply and install 57 N163/5.X turbines from the Delta4000 series in South Africa. The order is for a cluster of three wind farms with 112.1 MW each. The wind farms are located in the Eastern Cape Province where the area benefits from very good wind conditions.

Falcon Oil & Gas has announced that the Shenandoah South 1H (SS-1H) well in EP117 achieved above commercial IP60 flow rate of 3.0 MMcf/d (normalised to 6.0 MMcf/d over 1,000 metres). This augurs well for the initial development in the Shenandoah South area as these rates continue to track average flow rates seen in the Marcellus Shale basin in the US.

Woodside has completed the sale of a 10% non-operating participating interest in the Scarborough Joint Venture to LJ Scarborough Pty Ltd (LNG Japan). The sale proceeds received by Woodside of US$910 million for equity in the Scarborough Joint Venture comprises the purchase price, reimbursed expenditure and escalation.

China: TotalEnergies and SINOPEC join forces to produce sustainable jet fuel at a SINOPEC's refinery
TotalEnergies and China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation ('SINOPEC') have signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) to jointly develop a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production unit at a SINOPEC's refinery in China. The planned unit, jointly owned by SINOPEC and TotalEnergies, will have the capacity to produce 230,000 tons of SAF per year, and will process local waste or residues from the circular economy (cooking oils and animal fats).
