Vietnam: Murphy Oil announces oil discovery at Hai Su Vang-1X offshore Vietnam Murphy Oil Corporation has announced that its subsidiary has drilled an oil discovery at the Hai Su Vang-1X exploration well in Block 15-2/17 in the Cuu Long Basin, located 40 miles offshore Vietnam. The well was drilled to total depth of 13,124 feet in 149 feet of water. Hai Su Vang-1X encountered approx. 370 feet of net oil pay from two reservoirs. |

At the same time, CO2 emissions were significantly reduced. The Troll field in the North Sea has set a historic production record, delivering 42.5 billion standard cubic metres of natural gas in 2024. This is the highest annual production ever for the field, and is an increase of almost ten percent from the previous record from 2022 (38.8 billion standard cubic metres). |
