Scatec third quarter 2025: Accelerating growth and continuing to deleverage
In the third quarter, Scatec continued to progress on its strategy, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of renewable energy in high-growth markets. Proportionate revenues increased by 22% to NOK 2,953 million (2,416 million), and EBITDA came in at NOK 1,063 million (1,520 million), with the third quarter last year affected by divestments gains and a catch-up payment in the Philippines. -

Germany: Groundbreaking ceremony: RWE is constructing Germany's largest battery storage facility in Gundremmingen, Bavaria
RWE is building Germany's largest battery storage facility to date at the Gundremmingen energy site. The 400-megawatt plant will have a storage capacity of 700 megawatt hours and will use the nuclear power plant's existing grid connection, which is currently being decommissioned. -

Norwegian Offshore Directorate publishes new report on power from shore
Power from shore as replacement for gas turbines has been the most important abatement to reduce greenhouse gases emissions offshore. Since 2015, these emissions have been reduced by 4.1 million tonnes, or 27 per cent. This is reflected in the Norwegian Offshore Directorate's new report on power from shore. -

Sweden: Vattenfall orders the world's first fossil-free steel dam gate from SSAB
Vattenfall and SSAB have signed a new agreement for the delivery of 120 tonnes of fossil-free steel for what will be the world's first fossil-free dam gate. The dam gate will be the largest steel component ever produced with near-zero fossil carbon dioxide emissions in the iron production. It will be installed in Vattenfall's hydropower station in Stornorrfors, Sweden, in 2028. -
