UK: AF Gruppen awarded new EPRD contract in the North Sea
AF Gruppen has, through its subsidiary AF Offshore Decom and in a consortium with Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC), been awarded a contract for the engineering, preparation, removal & disposal (EPRD) of a North Sea platform on the UK Continental Shelf. UK: DeepOcean completes subsea removals at Spirit Energy’s Seven Seas and Grove West fields
Global ocean services provider DeepOcean has successfully completed the recovery of the remaining subsea wellhead protection structure at the Spirit Energy-operated Seven Seas field, as well as the disconnection of subsea infrastructure at the operator’s nearby Grove West field in the southern North Sea, using proprietary tooling developed in-house for decommissioning. -

Nobian and energy technology company Airengy have started a collaboration to explore and assess the potential and feasibility of long-duration compressed air energy storage in Nobian-operated salt cavern in Denmark. The collaboration will focus on evaluating Airengy’s compressed air energy storage technology ('AirBattery'), which will store surplus renewable electricity as compressed air in an underground cavern, to be released for power generation when needed. -

Philippines: Tetragon awards key Philippines seismic processing contract
Tetragon Energy advises that it has taken the first key step in its strategy to unlock the value of its highly prospective Philippines oil and gas permits, awarding a contract to re-process the extensive seismic data.
