08 Aug 25Germany: VSB receives permit for repowering of Lehmden Wind Farm
In the municipality of Rastede in Lower Saxony, green energy will continue to be produced at the Lehmden Wind Farm. Project developer VSB, based in Osnabrück, is repowering the existing turbines, increasing total capacity from 3.6 megawatts (MW) to 18 MW under the project name VSB Windpark Liethe-Lehmden. Construction is expected to commence in November 2026. -
